We want you to be able to enjoy high-quality, naturally-produced gourmet food without any limits, and not just that: we also want your delivery to be made as quickly as a Foodora delivery. Now that you’re here, hopefully you’ll appreciate what we’ve been trying to bring into your home kitchen – as you’ve noticed when you’re out and about in the Finnish wilderness, we don’t have olive groves next to our potato fields, so we need a little internal market trade with other EU Member States and the free movement of goods that this involves. However, as an indoor plant, the olive tree can thrive. 


Our products are tied to the seasons and harvests, and occasional supply difficulties tend to be one of the challenges with deliveries from the Mediterranean. Some of our products may require special requests and arrangements.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS


The products in the online store are sold by Kissamos Trade Goods, business ID 2929371-6. 

The prices include value-added tax. We reserve the right to change the prices and postal charges. Kissamos Trade Goods sells its products to private individuals and companies in Finland and the economic areas of the European Union and the EEA, and these parties are hereinafter referred to as customers. Products are only sold to customers under the age of 18 if the customer has the written consent of a guardian to purchase the products. If the price or other information presented on Kissamos Trade Goods’ website contains obvious writing, calculation or data processing errors, Kissamos Trade Goods shall not be obliged to supply products according to the incorrect information. The customer may decide whether to accept supply under the corrected terms, conditions and information. Kissamos Trade Goods shall not be responsible nor liable for delays caused by the activities of manufacturers, importers or other parties.


SALES AREA


The products sold in the online store are mainly delivered to the territory of Finland. Customers in nearby regions may enquire about the products and contact Kissamos Trade Goods directly by email at asiakaspalvelu@kistradegoods.fi or by phone on +358 44 984 4063, Mon–Fri, 10 am – 6 pm.


PRICES OF PRODUCTS


The prices of all products are expressed in euros including value-added tax of 14% or 24%. The size of the sales packages is indicated for each product. The delivery charges for each product shall be added to the prices according to the customer’s selected delivery method. Kissamos Trade Goods reserves the right to change prices.


ORDERING


Products are generally ordered over the internet via a shopping cart at oliivi.shop. All orders are confirmed by email, and the message states the price of the order, as well as the applicable delivery charges and the products ordered. To receive an order confirmation, you must provide your email address or phone number when you place the order. Whenever an order is placed, the customer undertakes to comply with the applicable terms of delivery.


PAYMENTS


The products and postal charges are paid for when the order is placed. The following payment methods are available in the online store.


ORDER CONFIRMATION


We will send an order confirmation by email, and the message will state the content of the order, all of the prices and the delivery charges. You can check the content of the order using your customer or user account on our website.


DELIVERY TIME


We dispatch products every business day. Depending on bank connections, it may take 3 to 7 business days to dispatch an order after payment. Any deviations from the delivery time will be announced on the oliivi.shop website or in our social media channels.


DELIVERY METHOD AND DELIVERY CHARGES


The delivery charges include postage and packing. The delivery charges will be shown when you have selected the payment and delivery method in the shopping cart. We deliver orders in a package, and the package can be tracked using a tracking number.


UNCOLLECTED AND UNREDEEMED SHIPMENTS


If the customer does not collect the package despite being sent multiple arrival notices by text message and email, the package will be returned to the sender.


Unredeemed and returned package


Failure to redeem a package is not the same as a return or cancellation. Unredeemed packages that are returned to Kissamos Trade Goods without specific notice of cancellation result in the cancellation of the sale. In such cases, we charge €15.00 for the costs incurred in returning the package, as well as any costs incurred due to the use of the selected payment method. In order to receive a refund, the customer should contact the customer service department of the oliivi.shop online store, which is managed by Kissamos Trade Goods’ importer, within 60 days of placing the order.


Reshipment


Unredeemed packages will be returned to Kissamos Trade Goods if they are not collected by the deadline set by the carrier. If an item is returned without specific notice or a package is not redeemed, the return does not qualify as a cancellation under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. We retain returned packages for 14 days after they arrive back at Kissamos Trade Goods. 


If you would like your package to be reshipped despite the return, we will charge a separate shipping charge of €15.00 by sending an advance invoice by email. The package will be shipped when the payment has been received.


Storage and return of packages


We aim to deliver all orders mainly using Posti and Matkahuolto in mainland Finland, international has different shipping information for shipments. Posti stores packages at all of its pick-up points for 7 days. Matkahuolto packages are stored at pick-up points for 7 days. If the customer does not collect a shipment by the deadline, the package will be returned to us. However, this does not qualify as a cancellation of the sale. Uncollected shipments are not considered returns under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. In such cases, we will automatically charge €15.00 in postage and handling charges, as well as any costs incurred due to the use of the selected payment method when returning the money.


STORAGE PERIODS


Matkahuolto

Additional time can be purchased for Matkahuolto shipments once they have been delivered to the final pick-up point. Additional time cannot be purchased for shipments for which cash on delivery has been chosen or if the collection point is a parcel locker.

Kissamos Trade Goods shall not be liable for any changes in the delivery dates and for the consequences of these for the customer.


TERMS OF EXCHANGE AND RETURN


According to the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the customer has a 14-day right of exchange and return. The right of return only applies to unused and saleable products in their original packaging. Before taking a return to Posti or Matkahuolto, send a free-form cancellation notice to asiakaspalvelu@kistradegoods.fi so that we are informed about your return. If no cancellation notice is sent, we will not refund the price of the returned products. The customer is liable for the costs of returning products. Include the following information in the returned package:


- Your customer number, if you have one, and your name, address and phone number

- Your bank account number

- A copy of the oliivi.shop order confirmation

We will not accept returns received more than 14 days after delivery. When the return is accepted, the money will be refunded directly into your bank account after the return is received and processed.


PROBLEMS


If a product is lost during shipment, damaged or the wrong product has been delivered to the customer, the customer should notify Kissamos Trade Goods of the error immediately at asiakaspalvelu@kistradegoods.fi or by post:

The notice of incorrect delivery or faulty products must be sent within 14 days of receiving the product. If the package was damaged by Posti or Matkahuolto, a complaint should be submitted to Posti or Matkahuolto immediately.

We reserve the right to change our terms of delivery. Before placing an order, the customer should review the applicable terms of delivery.
